THINKING PARTNERSHIP COURSE 

The Thinking Partnership Session model is the step by step process for liberating the human mind to think for itself with unprecedented clarity, originality and rigour.  This highly participatory course teaches this acclaimed process in depth.

No particular preparation is necessary, however, if you have time you might like to read (or listen to) one of Nancy Kline’s books: “Time To Think”, “More Time To Think”, or her newest, “The Promise That Changes Everything”. The Promise - Time to Think

3 days: two days back-to-back followed by a third day. (2 - 4 people)

Having completed a 3 day ‘Thinking Partnership’ course with Fiona, I thought it could be something I adopted with my wife to develop our communication and thinking as a couple. From the very start of the day we both felt very comfortable because Fiona provided us with a rich overview of what to expect, which was important for my wife as this was very unfamiliar for her as a participant. My wife and I were at ease doing this together and came with a commitment to immerse ourselves in the techniques Fiona masterfully demonstrated, but most importantly, gave us plenty of opportunities to practise. In fact, the most demanding but hugely rewarding aspect of the day was for us to PRACTISE, both as the “thinker” and “thinking partner”. We came away from the day feeling positive about the learning, but crucially, with the commitment to put in place an agreement that we would start using the thinking environment for our discussions and general dialogue.”This has also been enormously helpful in my line management role. Previously if someone was upset and letting off steam my tendency would be to try and find solutions and offer advice. However, truly listening to someone is so much more powerful. My team thank me for my support and seem really grateful for the time. They also seem to be becoming more resourceful at coping with things that cause them frustration and stress.
